This is a really inspiring, empowering, funny and reassuring video, Dean. I was very moved by you underlying message hope, and of your kind and joyous attitude. It is a great strart to the Conference. Thank you, Dean, and everybody who has worked so hard to put this conference together.
Thank you for this gentle, inspiring and helpful talk Dean.
Godfrey and enjoyed your great presentation.
So much of what you experienced is what we are all feeling to a greater or lesser extent. But it was really reassuring to hear how you are coping and then reflect on my own experience and think maybe I am getting it right. Like you in the beginning I thought I would do so many things and found it reassuring to have that pressure recognised.
Really enjoyed your video Dean and really informative and very inspiring Was really fantastic
Great start to the conference.
I can relate to quite a lot of what you were saying Dean and as you said take one day at a time or even I hour at a time.
Brilliant presentation.
Like!! Really appreciate you sharing this blog post.Really thank you! Keep writing.
Really enjoyed hearing you speak about your lockdown experience. My son who is 18 is autistic. He let me cut his hair yesterday! This was a big thing as I am NOT a hairdresser. Your description of anxiety is something I have seen in family members too and the psychology around following rules in the wider population is so interesting.
This video was really inspiring to me as I have high anxiety about my health and watching the news during lockdown has made things worse. The only thing I’m enjoying at the moment is doing my karate and going out shopping with my mum. All I’m doing at the moment is watching TV though there is nothing to watch plus I miss watching Dr Who on at the weekends. Jodie Whittaker is such a boring doctor. At the same time I’m waiting to go to the Gender Clinic which is bringing extra anxiety and stress for me.
