Getting Views from One-to-One Members

On Thursday 26th July 2018, we had a “Your Voice” meeting which aimed to get the views of One-to-One members on the topics of health, transport, sports and leisure, community safety and adult social care/benefits.

The meeting began with the elected representatives of One-to-One, Victor and Kelly, talking about their roles on the Learning Difficulty and Autism Council. Victor represents transports and is currently the co-chair of the Partnership Board, he also attends the TFL valuing people meeting to discuss travel and transport issues. Kelly represents sports and leisure and takes part in partnership board meetings and has attended an Enfield Council’s full council meeting.

One-to-One (Enfield) Members then had the opportunity to discuss in small groups any problems/issues/concerns or good experiences that they had come across in any of the topic areas. Everything that the members told us has been really useful and we are taking it further on their behalf.

Well Done Victor and Kelly.
