JOB OPPORTUNITY … We are looking for a NEW Chief Executive Officer

We are looking for a NEW Chief Executive Officer to replace our long standing Chief Executive who is due to retire in June 2022.
We would like to start someone early 2022 to ensure a smooth handover.

Our Charity is small and led by people with lived experience of Learning Difficulties/Disability and/or Autism. Our aim is to live better lives, have a voice and to be included in community life in Enfield.

Our new Chief Executive will lead a small staff team, some of whom have lived experience, to fundraise for and carry out a range of projects that support our aims.

We have recently adopted the following priorities for the next three years and one of your first jobs would be to progress our work-plans for these:-

You’ll have experience of keeping an organisation healthy – governance, fundraising & finances, operations, safeguarding, and will understand how to get the best from the Trustee/Chief Executive relationship.

We are working hard on our diversity and are particularly keen to hear from people with lived experience of the challenges faced by our beneficiaries.

We’re a flexible employer and your life work balance is important to us. The post is 28 hours a week, this can be flexible dependent on personal needs and could be adjusted down to 21 hours a week if needed. Your workplace will be in our office, at home and in the community.

One of our strengths is awareness raising and some of your role will be diversity training and public speaking to other organisations and in the wider community. For example, supporting our lived experience trainers to train NHS GPs.
